Special Olympics is a global sports movement to end discrimination against people with intellectual disabilities, founded in 1968. Special Olympics strives to create a better world by fostering the acceptance and inclusion of all people. Through the power of sports, people with intellectual disabilities discover new strengths and abilities, skills, and success. The YWCA is proud to be a part of Special Olympics Swimming. Practices are 4:00-5:00 pm Tuesdays, January through June. Contact Aquatics Director Denise or Coach Kylie for more information.
